Questions people ask
How long does it take to register a company in Finland?
A limited company can be registered online in a few days if the founders have Finnish identification. Foreign founders without Finnish identification need more time. The Finnish Patent and Registration Office explains the steps.
Can a foreign company work in Finland without a Finnish company?
Yes, many do, but there are tax and registration duties, and posted workers must be notified to the occupational safety authority. The Tax Administration has a page for foreign businesses in Finland.
Where are the industrial plots?
The GigaVaasa area at Laajametsä and the city's other business areas are managed by the City of Vaasa and the neighbouring municipalities. VASEK, the regional development company, helps companies find premises and land.
